Our Academy is our unique approach to prepare students for a successful Oxbridge application. The aim of the Academy is to address how students actually think at a fundamental level and thus radically increase their chances of success in the application process.

The faculty of the Academy is made up of current and past Oxbridge minds and students get to interact closely with these tutors over time – allowing for real impact and measurable results.

Each Academy stream runs in cycles. There are 4 cycles in a calendar year – one over the summer and one per school term. In each cycle, a student gets to have 10 to 12 sessions together with homework in between sessions.

In order to give each student the optimum level of attention, spaces are very limited. To sign up to the Academy you will have to book a consultation first.

Having mapped out the “point of departure” and the “point of arrival” for the student from the initial consultation, we are able to take a student on a journey from where they are now to where they need to be and track their progress along the way. The Academy employs a range of methods and approaches to this, including but not limited to:

Small Group Coaching

Following the Cambridge-style supervisions, we use highly interactive small group teaching and coaching to train students with the skills and knowledge required

Drills and Exercises

These take various formats and levels of intensity. They are designed to simulate the high intensity conditions under which these students will be required to perform.

The Socratic Method

By demonstrating and utilizing multi-layered questioning, we are able to Identify and change thinking patterns in powerful ways

Targeted Training

We provide both online and in-person training targeted at areas where knowledge and skill gaps have been identified

Mentoring

Attitude and mindset (in addition to knowledge and skills) are important in determining the students’ performance. We address this through high-impact mentoring
