Our story started about 20 years ago when a group of Oxford Univeristy and Cambridge University (“Oxbridge”) students got the idea of using their experience, skills and unique perspectives to help prospective Oxbridge applicants land places at the university of their choice.

This started a journey that has evolved over the years – travelling around the country training prospective Oxbridge applicants, working with students who were featured on national news and seeing these young people bag their dream offers from some of the UK’s top universities – most of these people have now graduated and are now in the workforce.

Since then, we have grown and developed these services to a point of razor-sharp precision. We know what it takes to get into Oxford and Cambridge and to have a successful time while there.

We have found an approach that works well to prepare students for any of the top UK universities and have helped many clients into other top UK universities including Imperial College, King’s College etc.

OUR APPROACH

We train, coach and mentor students to develop and hone the skills required for a successful Oxbridge application and career. These skills will serve them well beyond their Oxbridge applications.

We know what it takes and have successfully equipped applicants from diverse backgrounds to make successful Oxbridge applications over the years. We tailor our approach based on our diagnosis of the needs of each student and can give a realistic sense of each student’s chances.

Beyond that, we are able to inspire our students. Coming from diverse backgrounds ourselves, we have walked this path successfully (against the odds) and so have a powerful narrative to unlock the imagination of our students.

In our experience, the best time window for students to get a consultation and start preparing is from Year 8 onwards.

We start with an initial consultation where we are able to understand the current situation as well as the aspiration of students (and their parents) and are able to accurately diagnose what each person needs. We are then able to tailor a journey that gives them the best chances of success in their Oxbridge applications.

Step 2: Signup to our Academy

Signup to our Academy

Following the initial consultation, students may then enroll into one of our Academy streams. The Elite Oxbridge Services Academy is our mechanism for tailored coaching and training for students based on the results of the initial consultation – students are divided into streams based on their needs.

OUR FOUNDER (BIO)

Dr. Toluwanimi Osinowo (“Tolu”) studied in the state school system in Nigeria and successfully went on to study for his BA and MB BChir degrees at the University of Cambridge where he was a Commonwealth Scholar.

He has since worked with many students from diverse backgrounds to get them into Oxford and Cambridge Universities as well as other top institutions – his expertise is unlocking human potential.

Tolu is the co-author of the “BMAT and UKCAT Uncovered” covering the thinking skills required for these exams for Universities of Oxford and Cambridge and published by international publishing house Wiley-Blackwell.

He works with schools, teachers and students to unlock the potential of the next generation and has developed a unique “Thinking” curriculum for Secondary Schools focused on developing how students think as opposed to the more traditional approach of just teaching them what to think.He is a regular speaker at conferences and events and has been a contributor to newspaper publications.

Tolu previously worked as a Strategy Consultant in the London office of the leading global strategy consulting firm Bain & Company, where he advised several FTSE 100 clients across 3 continents.
